Fruits of blackberry are rich with useful substances, they contain: glucose (2,88-3,64%), fructose (3,12-3,24%), sucrose (0,35-0,58%), ascorbic acid (15-18%), carotene (to 220 KE in 100 g of fruits), vitamin E, organic acids (to 2,2%), tannins, pectinaceous substances, and also is a lot of iron, salts of calcium, potassium, copper and manganese.
