Montblanc (Mont Blanc, Germany-China) — division of Parketoff concern on release of a two-layer massive board. The two-layer massif or tekhnomassiv — the new highly specialized direction in a parquet. Such structure of material allows to stabilize wood, to reduce seasonal expansion and narrowing, practically to exclude reaction to microclimatic changes. For an integral massive board of standard width it is not a problem since the shcheleniye is hardly noticeable, and cracking of stable breeds — the rare occurence. For a wide board ( for example, 180 mm) — it is already critical therefore the Montblanc company presented a stable two-layer massive board.
Unlike an engineering board, both layers of a massive board of Montblanc are executed from a firm oak. The lower layer from an oak allows to make repeated scraping, identically integral massive board. Both types of a massive board can be scraped to the level when there are about 1,5 mm before tongue-and-groove connection. Thanks to the underestimated thorns and grooves in a massive board of Montblanc the working layer is identical to an integral board. Moreover, the majority of models of a tekhnomassiv Mont Blanc become covered with natural oil. Natural oil for updating does not need to be scraped — enough only to impregnate wood with transparent oil. Color oils are applied to restoration or change of a shade. Processing of a parquet oil does not demand special skills and tools.
