Norway spruce - type-species of evergreen trees from the sort Fir-tree of Family Pine. It is eurysynusic in northeast part of Europe where grows at continuous forest areas. In the western part of Europe meets only in the Carpathians, the Alps, and also in mountains of the Balkan Peninsula. Locally naturalizirovana in North America, the British Isles and the Pyrenees. Forest forming breed, in taiga forms the pure woods - fir groves. Often adjoins to Scotch pine, Siberian spruce and broadleaved trees, forming mixed forests.
