Jet JWP-208-3 – the professional surface gage suitable for small workshops and industrial shops. The machine is equipped with the engine with power more than five kilowatts. All main knots are made of pig-iron castings: the planing module, the basis of the directing columns and a desktop. Thanks to it high quality of planing is reached. Indirect, but important advantage - low noise level during the work.
In a surface of a desktop the lower rollers for simplification of giving of preparation are built in. They are established on eccentric axes that allows simple, fast and their exact adjustment on departure height. On the top part of the machine two rollers for the return giving of the processed preparation are mounted.
Despite importance of the design features noted above, the possibility of replacement of a standard four-knife shaft by helical shaft becomes a decisive factor in favor of the choice of this model for many. Such modernization allows to increase quality of processing of details and, at the same time, to forget for a long time about problems with knives, even when processing mainly strong breeds of a tree.
