Stuffings stuffing are used for consolidation of omental cameras of fittings, centrifugal and piston pumps, and also various units at working temperatures from-70 to +300C.

Wattled omental stuffings are now the most widespread type of sealing materials which are applied to filling of cameras of fittings, centrifugal, piston and so forth pumps, various devices. Omental stuffings complete more than 70 pumps and 80% of fittings. Stuffings stuffing differ with both compound materials, and ways of production (structure). Both of these factors influence operational properties of omental stuffings.

Stuffing are divided by structure of stuffing on asbestine and bezasbestovy, ftoroplastovy, dry (pure and graphitized), and also impregnated (fatty, grafitokleevy structures), the reinforced omental stuffings (a brass wire) also meet. On structure of weaving of stuffing happen: through, one - and multilayered weaving of the core.

Basis of wattled stuffings are various fibrous materials. In subsector of ATI for production of wattled stuffings use threads and a yarn from asbestos, cotton, bast and chemical fibers. An important component of stuffings are the different types of impregnations and fillers giving them necessary properties.
