CLASSIFICATION ACCORDING TO NORM OF EN 13813

The couplers made by means of Topcem Pronto according to the technical characteristics specified in this technical card answer classification of CT - C30 - F6 - A1fl according to the European norm of EN 13813.

SCOPE

The device of floating and adhesive couplers on the new and existing concrete bases in and outside of rooms for the subsequent laying of wooden, polyvinylchloride, linoleum coverings, a ceramic tile, a natural stone, carpet or other floor coverings in cases when quickly drying couplers for reduction of time of laying are required. Some cases primenenya

• The device of couplers which are ready to pedestrian loadings in 12 hours and completely dry in 4 days for the subsequent laying of parquet and elastic coverings, such as rubber, polyvinylchloride, linoleum, etc.
• The device of couplers which are ready for laying of a ceramic tile in 24 hours and a natural stone in 2 days.
• Repair of couplers on the objects demanding fast readiness for operation (supermarkets, shops, public places, offices, etc. ).
• Formation of couplers over heating elements without addition of softeners.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Topcem Pronto - structure, previously mixed, ready to use, with a normal skhvatyvaniye and controlled shrinkage on the basis of the special hydraulic knitting and perfect filler. Topcem Pronto is easy in application: just mix with water. It prevents the mistakes connected with addition of the correct amount of the knitting substance and fillers, mistakes which could threaten final operational characteristics of a coupler after drying. Topcem Pronto - the ideal decision when it is difficult to find fractional fillers of high quality, or on building sites, for example in business centers where the material support connected with mixing of usual knitting can be complicated. With Topcem Pronto it is possible to work during the same interval of time, as with solutions on the basis of cement, but hardening time much quicker.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Do not use Topcem Pronto on the bases subject to a capillary raising of moisture (put a steamproof membrane between the basis and Topcem Pronto).
• Do not mix Topcem Pronto with other knitting substances (Mapcem, Topcem, cement, lime, plaster, etc. ) or fillers.
• Mix Topcem Pronto with the required amount of water.
• It is impossible to add water to already mixed mix Topcem Pronto after the skhvatyvaniye began.
• Do not humidify Topcem Pronto coupler surface.

INSTRUCTION FOR APPLICATION

Preparation of the basis

Any bases if they are not subject to the rising moisture are suitable for application of Topcem Pronto; otherwise, use a waterproofing membrane. For adhesive couplers from 10 to 35 mm thick of the basis have to be dry, without cracks, cleared of dust, loose particles, a varnish, wax, oils and traces of plaster.

Preparation of a rastvr

• Topcem Pronto can be mixed:
• in the rotating mixers;
• in usual mixers on building sites;
• in centrifugal mixers;
• in the mixing (car) car;
• in automatic delivery pumps.

Mix 25 kg packing of Topcem Pronto with 1,7 liters of water, at least, 5 minutes. Never change an amount of water since it will lead to reduction of final strength properties. Mix has to have a consistence of the damp earth. Stamp and level mix until receive a dense and smooth surface.

FLOATING COUPLERS (thickness from 35 to 60 mm)

Lay the mix Topcem Pronto on a polyethylene film (a steamproof embrana), or similar, for ensuring the movement between a coupler and the existing surface. In case of penetration of humidity it is necessary to use a waterproofing membrane, for ensuring vapor impermeability under a coupler. Sites of a coupler of Topcem Pronto which pipes keep within have to be strengthened by the reinforcing grid from a thin wire. Couplers from Topcem Pronto stack in the same way, as usual couplers on the basis of cement: arrange beacons, stack mix, carefully distribute it and then ram, for achievement of the best superficial finishing. The isolating materials (a cardboard, the made foam polystyrene, a stopper, etc. ) keep within about 1 cm thick on perimeter of a coupler and around colon. In case of a break in work, it is necessary to place steel bars 20 - 30 cm long and with a diameter of 3 - 6 mm at distance from 20 to 30 cm from each other in a coupler which is cut off perpendicular to the basis for ensuring ideal transition between ovy and old fillings and prevention of cracks and a difference in levels. It is usually possible to work with the mix Topcem Pronto during a bigger interval of time, than traditional couplers. Nevertheless temperature indoors nevertheless influences the speed of a skhvatyvayemost and drying.

ADHESIVE COUPLERS (thickness of 10 - 35 mm)

Thin couplers have to be pasted to the bases (concrete, the existing ceramic tile or a natural stone). Concerning other bases, consult with technical department of MAPEI. Prepare binding solution as it is described below, and apply it evenly with a brush or the pallet after clear a surface and neposredsvenno before drawing a coupler of Topcem Pronto. For ensuring ideal adhesion stack the mix Topcem Pronto still binding solution still fresh ("fresh on fresh"). The mix Topcem Pronto for the built - in couplers are a same mix, as described above for floating couplers.

Preparation of binding solution

Mix before receiving homogeneous mass:

Planicrete: 250 g

Water: 250 g

Topcem Pronto: 3 kg

To allow mix to be defended a little, then to mix anew just before drawing.

HUMIDITY MEASUREMENT

Usual electric hygrometers do not give reliable evidences for Topcem Pronto couplers. Level of residual humidity should be measured by a carbide hygrometer which gives exact evidences to humidity of a coupler.

EXPENSE

18 - 20 kg/sq. m/cm of thickness (depending on ramming).

Cleaning

Tools are cleared by water.

PACKING

Bags on 25 kg.

STORAGE

Topcem Pronto is suitable for the use within, at least, 12 months at storage in the dry place.

It is made according to indications of the Directive 2003/53/EU.

THE SAFETY RULE AT PREPARATION AND USE

This material contains cement which in contact with then and other corporal moisture leads to the irritating alkaline reaction and the allergic phenomena at the people predisposed to it. It is necessary to use protective gloves and points. More detailed data are given in the material safety data sheet.
