The ground gravitational barytic concentrate is applied as a weighting compound of boring solutions, and also in various industries: in paint and varnish, glass, by production of plastic, frictional materials, linoleum, rubber, insulating materials, barium salts, as protection against ionizing radiation, for example, X - ray of offices, at preparation of heavy grouting cements, etc.
The ground barytic concentrate is an environmentally friendly product. The barytic concentrate is fire and explosion - proof, is not toxic.
Barite (barium sulfate, barium sulfate, barytic weighting compound)
BARITE (Concentrate Barytic Gravitational) Class B (KB - 3), GOST 4682 - 84
BaSO4 BARITE - widespread and long ago the known mineral long since drawing attention of collectors. Ancient miners noticed its spaynost and high density, having noted these properties the name "heavy spar". Long time it was considered as a useless kind of plaster. Interest in barite for the first time arose as to a funny thing: in 1650 the shoemaker Vincenzo Cascariolo found in the neighborhood of the hometown of Bologna of concretion which, being calcinated with sawdust or coal, gained ability "to reserve light" - to glow in the dark after preliminary lighting. Subsequently it was established that the luminescence (called a phosphorescence) proceeded from the barium sulfide which was turning out when calcinating.
Later more than century the Swedish chemists K. V. Sheele and Yu. G. Gan established that "the shining balls from Bologna" and "heavy spar" - same and besides an independent mineral type, but not a kind of plaster. In 1797 Mr. of Delametri in France called it "barite" - in Greek "heavy", in 1800 Mr. Carsten in Germany made his first scientific description. And in 1808 H. Davy in England emitted the new chemical element which received the name "barium" on mineral from barite.
Barite is very picturesque and various on colourings and forms of allocation, and some collectors even specialize in one this mineral. The similar collection was collected by the Russian academician T. E. Lovits (1757 - 1804). Barite forms the fine, crystals of a rhombic singoniya varied in form of tablitchaty and prismatic shapes which sometimes are peculiar split including "rose", and also beautiful Druzes, joints, parallel accretions, various units.
On crystals of barite over 200 simple forms are noted. They are transparent or appear through, have glass gloss, are colourless or painted in light tone - yellow, orange, bluish, greenish. Coloring is usually connected with defects of crystal structure and is inclined to fading. Dark colourings (brown, red, gray to black) are caused by mechanical impurity. The painted crystals meet zonalno. The Spaynost of various degree in three directions. Hardness 3, 5. Density 4, 3 - 4, 7.
Barite is formed in mostly hydrothermal way and accompanies ore veins or forms independent deposits. Less often it meets in sedimentary manganese fields, clays, sandstones.
It is used in chemical industry, in medicine, as a filler, in production of whitewash, ferrite. Barite has high antiradiation properties and is applied to production of special concrete and at x - ray researches of internals of the person. World extraction of barite exceeds 4 million tons per year.
The best domestic collection barite is known on fields of the North Caucasus. On the Elbrus mine in upper courses of the Kuban River large crystals and Druzes of transparent barite of honey color met. Crystals, edge joints, zabereg, etc. on the Belorechensk field near Maykop are extraordinary effective and various. Good barite meets in Kadamdzhaye, Haydarkana, Tyuyamuyuna and other fields of Central Asia.
From foreign barite it should be noted Druzes golden and orange color of transparent crystals from Pyola, the Ore Mountains (Germany); Druzes of bluish listovaty crystals from Kavnik (Romania); water and transparent, colourless barite from Stanislavuva (Poland); pale yellow crystals and snopovidny joints on big crystals of violet fluorite from the State of Illinois (USA). The largest crystal of barite weighing 45 kg is found in Dufgona (Great Britain).
It is easy to recognize barite by appearance, the high density, a spaynost. From similar to it the tselestina differs in coloring of a flame in flavovirent color. Maintains short - term processing by hydrochloric and fluoric acids.
Application:
- Transparent crystals of barite use in optical devices.
- It is widely applied as the substance increasing density of boring solutions.
- Apply in x - ray offices to protection against X - rays, to coverings and isolation in chemical productions (thanks to chemical firmness, in particular in relation to sulfuric acid).
- Serves as raw materials for production of baric salts, baric whitewash, enamel, glaze; a filler at production of rubber, an oilcloth, linoleum, paper.
QSS LLP suggests to buy barite wholesale and retail volumes. It is well - known that it is the most favorable to get a barytic concentrate in Kazakhstan as in our country its deposits are considered as the biggest. The product offered by us is delivered by the Kazakh producer, and it does it very advantageous in cost.
It is possible to buy a barytic concentrate for application in:
-
oil - extracting;
-
paint and varnish;
-
medical;
-
chemical;
-
glass branches;
-
by production of plastic, rubbers, polyethylene, linoleum and many other materials.
Very available price on a barytic concentrate therefore it serves as raw materials for very many izgotovleniye. It has good chemical resistance to acids, and is characterized by a high spaynost and density. Thanks to a difference of the forms and colors, barite was fallen in love not only to multiple producers, as well as many famous collectors.
