Columned devices are intended for carrying out warm and a mass exchange (rectification, absorption, a desorption) at temperatures not below — 40 °C and it is not above + 200 °C with an excessive pressure:

— to 1 MPa (10 kgfs/cm ²) — for devices with a regular nozzle, — 1,6 MPas (16 kgfs/cm ²) — for devices with a bulk nozzle, — 2,5 MPas (25 kgfs/cm ²) — for devices with plates, — without pressure and under vacuum residual pressure it is not lower than 665 Ma (5 mm of mercury.). Devices are intended for operation in areas with seismicity to 6 points on a twelve-mark scale (MSK-64). Columned devices make on basic paws for installation on overlappings, and also on the cylindrical or conic support determined by the customer. Nozzle columned devices with a nozzle are used, mainly, to distillation of the high-aggressive or viscous products (and also when arises need to have a small reserve of liquid in the course of rectification) which are not demanding thin division and in processes of absorption with big specific heaters on liquid for uniform distribution of liquid on a nozzle surface.
