Represents the nonwoven array of fibers fastened through small intervals with seams. Has the high density of surface, thanks to the friable structure, it is hygroscopic and well heat-insulates. Well absorbs moisture, dust, quickly dries and it is easily wrung out.

The first production phase of holstoproshivny cloth is crushing of textile raw materials (most often cotton, fiber glass). Then the pukhoborazny basis is rolled in uniform layer which is stitched by zigzag lines, or makes the way by means of needle tools. Material is intended for the economic and construction purposes.

In construction material PSH-T is applied at heat insulation of pipelines. Also for production of holstoproshivny cloth use waste of cotton manufacture (putanka, tows, waste) and
second-hand materials (tailors clipping, rag). It hpp can have color from gray to black.
Frequency of lines varies in the range from 2,5 mm to 10 mm. The more often the cloth is stitched, the it stronger also is more long-lasting.
