Stamping (foil, blind)

Process is subdivided by types:

The stamping foil — stamping at which between heated cliche and material (paper, skin, plastic etc.) stretches foil and is made pressing. Under the influence of heated cliche the metallized or pigmental sputtering lags behind film carrier and is fixed by glue layer on surface of tisnimy material.

Blind stamping — stamping by means of cliche with the purpose to receive print with smooth surface (for example, on textural paper, on skin). Unlike stamping foil, the foil is not applied, but special films can be applied to obtaining the best smoothness or gloss. Working temperatures of process are, as a rule, lower, than at stamping foil, in order to avoid overheat and damage of material.
